CSC’s legacy website shared personal stories that illustrate how the right environment and consistent support can change everyday life.

01

Frederick Zengal

Frederick, known as Rick, came to Center for Social Change through an uncommon transition after receiving support from another provider. His story is part of CSC’s longer record of helping people find stability and community-based support.

02

Michael Dellangelo

Michael’s story reflects the difficult decisions many families face when an adult child with a developmental disability moves from the family home into another care setting. It recognizes the trust, uncertainty and long-term responsibility involved in that transition.

03

Edwin Burtwell

Before joining CSC, Edwin lived with family and experienced repeated hospitalizations connected to challenging circumstances. His story focuses on the stability and security that appropriate, consistent support can make possible.

04

Janet Novak

Janet’s story begins with a family seeking help after a serious change in her needs. It reflects the importance of coordinated guidance when home care is no longer manageable and a family needs a safe next step.

Publishing with dignity

These stories are retained as part of CSC’s legitimate public history. Before full archival text and photographs are republished, CSC should reconfirm consent, current permissions and the appropriate level of personal detail for public use.
